Colmers is a wonderful, oversubscribed school of 1200 students aged 11-19.  Our website will, I hope, provide you with plenty of practical information about every aspect of our school life.

Our Colmers’ Curriculum is designed to open minds and open doors for all of our young people. Great teaching is our core business – we will always strive to make sure our classrooms are places that excite and inspire our learners, equipping them with the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to succeed in and beyond their examinations. We also believe that the exceptional extra-curricular and enrichment opportunities that we offer are essential for our students to thrive and be successful.

It is very important to us that every student, every member of staff and every parent and carer feels part of the Colmers family, a community in which we value our individual differences while working together towards shared goals. Our relationships with parents and carers are essential to ensuring the safety and well-being of our young people, especially as they navigate the challenges of our fast-changing world.
